What Are Peptides?
Peptides are composed of a string of amino acids which are the building blocks of proteins.
Peptides for medical use are synthetically made but designed to mimic or promote desired processes in the body. Most peptides are not patented by large pharmaceutical companies and therefore are prepared by smaller compounding pharmacies, and are called by their generic name or a series of letters and numbers which is what they were called when they were invented in the science lab.
Peptides are gaining widespread use as ingredients in skin creams, oral supplements, and injections. Peptides have a wide variety of uses such as healthy aging, muscle building, weight management, sexual health, sports performance, stamina, blood sugar regulation, and many more.
The wonderful thing about peptides is that they act by stimulating your own body to produce hormones. For example, sermorelin works by stimulating your pituitary gland to secrete Human Growth Hormone (HGH). Growth Hormone is responsible for creating lean muscle mass and decreasing belly fat. Sermorelin also can increase energy and stamina in sports performance. Sermorelin is helpful for men and women.
Are They Safe? I believe the benefits outweigh any risks.
Some peptides have a long history of use with clear side effect profiles and information. Others are very new and have very limited information.
When sourced from reputable providers and administered under professional supervision, pharmaceutical-grade peptides are generally considered safe.
Many peptides are designed to mimic natural processes in the body, which can lead to fewer side effects compared to traditional medications. Common, mild side effects may include temporary reactions at the injection site or digestive discomfort. It's important to note that while peptide therapy shows promising benefits, long-term safety data is still being gathered. Personally, I believe in the advantages of peptide therapy so much that I incorporate it into my own health regimen.
Peptides have been used for decades in other countries. There are numerous animal studies documenting safety and benefit although there are few human studies. We must therefore state that...

If you choose to start a peptide regime, be mindful of working on your physical and mental health with lifestyle improvements and coaching. There is no magic bullet in life; it takes effort from many angles to optimize your health. A healthy diet, consistent exercise, adequate sleep, and good mental health are the prerequisites to starting any peptide program.
A Note About Peptides Purchased Online Without A Prescription:
There is a correlation between cost and quality. Peptides purchased without a prescription that are “Not for Human Use”, or "For research only" are potentially not safe. You have no idea what is in the powder that you are injecting into yourself, including impurities. We do Not recommend using them.
At Invest in My Health, all of our products are from FDA approved, US based pharmacies that provide physician grade products that undergo rigorous quality control standards.

Some examples of common peptides are as follows (there are too many to list here):
Healthy Weight maintenance and Weight loss regimens can consist of tirzepatide or other GLP-1 agonists. Other strategies may include sermorelin, L-carnitine shots, MICC, vitamin D shots, and/or taurine. Weight loss strategies should be paired with strategies to improve diet, nutrition, and mindset related to food and body image. While weight loss doses of a GLP-1 agonist can be short-term, the medication can be used in a microdose for weight maintenance and the many other health benefits of GLP-1 agonists, for an indefinite long-term.

The Benefits of Microdosing GLP-1 Agonists
Using a microdose of a GLP-1 agonist, like tirzepatide, is a cutting-edge approach to improving health and preventing type 2 diabetes. GLP-1 agonists work by helping your body regulate blood sugar levels, reducing inflammation, and even supporting healthy weight loss—all of which are key factors in preventing chronic diseases. Research also suggests these medications may help extend both lifespan and healthspan by improving metabolic health and reducing the risk of serious conditions like heart disease. By using a microdose, you can gain these benefits while minimizing potential side effects. It’s a proactive, science-backed way to optimize your health and invest in a longer, healthier future.
The Benefits of Rapamycin for Longevity
Rapamycin (also known as sirolimus) is a groundbreaking treatment with exciting potential to support longevity and healthy aging. Originally developed to prevent organ transplant rejection, research has uncovered that it can also slow down the aging process at the cellular level. Rapamycin works by targeting a key pathway in the body called mTOR, which is involved in cell growth and repair. By gently "tapping the brakes" on this pathway, rapamycin can help reduce inflammation, improve immune function, and protect against age-related diseases. This science-backed therapy may help you live not just longer, but healthier, by maintaining vitality and slowing the progression of age-related decline.
Testimonials
"In terms of my use of the body deca peptides (BPC157) and TB500, so far the results have been nothing short of fantastic. My shoulder that was giving me problems when we first began working together is no longer an issue. My recovery time at the gym has also dramatically improved. There would be times when a workout may leave me feeling really fatigued the next day but that’s not the case anymore. I also feel like I am able to work harder and longer in the gym than before. Even general aches and pains have gone away as well."
Jason D.
"My knee functionality continues to improve. The duration of swelling/pain has significantly shortened, and pain lessened. Treatment has been very beneficial so far! (In regard to body deca peptide and TB500)."

"For the better part of my younger years I certainly took my health for granted, but as age crept up on me, what I once so nonchalantly let slip away had become the focus of my existence.
After surviving an organ transplant, it was my mission to become the highest and best version of myself, and in order to do just that I needed to put my health above and beyond all else.
It should come as no surprise that traditional medicine has been utilized to “keep us going from appointment to appointment”. I knew something better just had to exist!
If you were to take a step back from the mainstream medical practices you’d find Dr. Julia Bramwell.
A once pediatrician that was frustrated with mainstream disservice that was considered “protocol”, who now commits her life and practice to what I would call optimal human wellness.
Dr. Julia wasn’t a stranger to me, she had entrusted me to service her vehicles for many many years. Now it was my turn to entrust her with my optimal wellness journey. It didn’t take very long to realize that this has been the single best health decision I’ve ever made for myself.
I’ve been a businessman my entire adult life. I gravitate away from large operations, including large medical practices. I want a relationship with my accountant, my attorney and especially my doctor. That’s exactly what I have with Dr. Julia, someone who’s as committed as I am to helping me achieve my highest and best self … all starting with optimizing my health and wellness.
From vitamin injections to supplementing for deficiencies, peptides, and mood enhancers. If you’re not living your highest and best life, there’s no time like the present to focus on just that. I can walk into her office feeling terrible and in a matter of hours do a 180 to feeling amazing! Dr. Julia is a warm soul that makes you feel at home every time you step into her office. And I use the word “office” very loosely, it feels more like being welcomed into her home.
Working with her isn’t a sales pitch, but rather you explain to her what you feel you’re lacking and she’ll advise you what options are available. She proceeds to then encourage you to do your own research before proceeding with any supplementation.
Dr. Julia goes as far as reviewing your medical history and even reaching out to your existing doctors to make sure that any plan she puts in place doesn’t interfere with other treatments. I feel blessed that she’s on my side when it comes to living my best life and I’m sure you will too!"
